The Metropolitan Housing Observatory of Barcelona (O-HB) of the Metropolis Institute collaborates in the PEMB initiative to work on the challenge of energy-efficient and socially just decarbonisation of housing stock in the metropolitan region of Barcelona. The initiative, in which the AuS-COAC Group also collaborates, aims to analyze the decarbonization projects of the housing stock that are carried out by entities or local entities.
The analysis of these actions will be carried out from two axes; on the one hand, the detection of unwanted impacts in vulnerable groups and on the other hand, the promotion of proactive and proactive actions so that rehabilitation aid reaches those with less resources.
The initiative has been carried out with the collaboration of the Generalitat de Catalunya through the RIS3CAT 2030 Strategy, which promotes the transition to green, digital, resilient and fair development through shared agendas and transformative innovation initiatives.
