Carles Donat, co-director of the Metropolitan Housing Observatory of Barcelona (O-HB), has taken part in the round table “The Future of Senior Housing: Options and Challenges” at the 1st Ball Forum, a meeting that highlights the role of older people in designing future solutions.
The event was held at the Auditorium of the new research building of the Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) and brought together professionals from various sectors to reflect on the social, urban, and health-related challenges of ageing. In addition, strategies to ensure inclusive and accessible environments in the metropolitan context were discussed.
The Ball Forum, promoted by the Barcelona Aging and Longevity Lab (BALL), is an initiative that fosters the active participation and voice of older adults in building a shared and sustainable future.
