The Barcelona Metropolitan Housing Observatory has launched a questionnaire entitled Living under Lockdown.
Its aim is to know how the Covid-19 lockdown has modified people’s opinions and needs regarding housing and analyse how this has affected the housing sector. The questionnaire focusses on how the pandemic affected three indices:
1. The economic situation of households and how this has affected mortgages and rental agreements (repayments, deferrals, etc.).
2. The active demand: its characteristics, and people’s needs and preferences after lockdown.
3. The habitability of housing: shortcomings detected before and after the pandemic and their effects in terms of territorial area, ownership, etc.
